The Brief

From two dated sites to one luxury platform

An early-2010s website with no shared checkout, no unified brand and no way to cross-sell between bridal wear, suit hire and styling services.

A single storefront spanning five categories — Bridal Dresses, Suit Hire, Planning, Flowers and Decorations — built on Kentmedia's own custom Ecom engine, the same product, cart and Stripe checkout system that powers our in-house shop. Every gown, suit package and planning service now lives on one searchable, filterable storefront with an instant quick-view modal for fast browsing.

The client also received a bespoke dashboard to run the business day to day — tracking revenue, managing stock across every category and fulfilling orders — without ever touching code.

The Build

A storefront built to browse and buy

Elegant on the surface, powered by the same Ecom engine underneath — category filters, live search and instant quick-view on every product.

HotWedding Collective homepage hero
Homepage

A full-width hero with dual calls to action — Shop Collections and View Featured — sitting above clear navigation across all five service lines.

Customers browse Features, Specifications and Reviews in a single modal and add straight to cart — no page reload, no lost place in the grid.

Behind the Scenes

A dashboard the client actually runs

Every HotWedding build ships with its own admin area — three screens covering sales, stock and order fulfilment.

HotWedding dashboard — Overview & Sales
Overview & Sales

The landing screen on login — live revenue trend, sales-by-category breakdown and stat tiles for total revenue, sales volume, low stock and pending orders, all updating in real time.

HotWedding dashboard — Inventory Manager
Inventory Manager

A searchable product table spanning every category — gowns, suits, planning packages, flowers and décor — with live stock counts, status flags and one-click edit or delete.

HotWedding dashboard — Sales & Orders Pipeline
Sales & Orders Pipeline

Every order tracked from payment to fulfilment — customer details, item counts, order value and status (Pending, Shipped, Completed) all managed from one screen.

Example of Strategies SEO & Social Media

Search visibility, and a visual-first presence

No campaign has run for HotWedding Collective yet — here's the SEO and social approach we'd apply for a visual, high-intent category like bridal and wedding retail.

SEO

Google Business Profile fully optimised for Kent-based bridal searches, with location-specific landing pages for gown fittings and suit hire appointments.

Product, Offer, Review and FAQ schema on every listing so gowns and packages are eligible for rich results — star ratings, pricing and stock status in the SERP itself.

Mobile-first performance tuning — image-heavy gown galleries served as compressed, responsive WebP so Core Web Vitals stay healthy under Google's current ranking signals.

Category and guide content targeting high-intent phrases — "wedding dress hire Kent", "morning suit hire packages" — rather than competing head-on for generic terms.

Real supplier and stylist bios, genuine customer reviews and a planning blog that demonstrates experience and trustworthiness — the signals Google weighs most heavily post-2024.

Publishing timed to the two real demand peaks — engagement season (Nov–Feb) for planning content, and wedding season (May–Sept) for gown and styling content.

Social Media

Wedding is one of Pinterest's biggest categories — boards built and tagged as a long-term discovery and traffic channel, not just a social feed.

Product tags on every gown and suit photo so browsing on Instagram leads straight to the quick-view modal and cart, cutting the path from inspiration to purchase.

TikTok and Instagram Reels — try-on and "get ready with me" style content — the format currently driving the highest organic reach in the bridal niche.

Genuine customer photos and micro-influencer partnerships — trust and authenticity outperform polished studio content for a purchase this personal.

Meta retargeting aimed at browsers who viewed a gown or suit package but didn't check out — a high-value, considered purchase that benefits from a gentle nudge.

Paid and organic content weighted toward the post-Christmas engagement surge, when couples are actively researching venues, planners and gowns.

Platform Options

A core storefront, or the full retail operating system

A small single-category shop doesn't need the same platform as a five-category marketplace with its own admin team — we scope the build to match. Every site launches with solid foundations for future growth.
